Shevet Achim: Programs and Events

All classes are taught by Rabbi Yechezkel Kornfeld and are held at the Shul (NYHS) unless otherwise noted. Changes to class schedule may be announced on Shabbos at Shul.

Daily

Tanya - 30 minutes prior to Shacharis services

Sunday

Daf Yomi - 9:30 AM - At the home of Rich Gilmore

Monday

Parshah HaShavua - 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM (Topic may vary. See Special Events, above, for changes)

Tuesday

Daf Yomi - 8:30 AM - At the home of Rich Gilmore

Wednesday

Torah Ohr - Classic Chasidic Text on the Weekly Parshah - 8:30 PM - Taught by Rabbi Mendy Kornfeld at the home of Mendy and Chanala Kornfeld

Thursday

Daf Yomi - 8:30 AM - At the home of Rich Gilmore

Gemara - 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM - At the office of Irv Sonkin on Bel-Red Road

(Classes are for men and women. Beginners welcome.)

Women's Learning & Discussion Group - 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM - At the home of Stacy Gilmore

Shabbos

Shulchan Aruch/Halacha (or other special topics) - 30 minutes prior to Mincha

DONATIONS

For that special occasion, to honor someone, or in memory of someone, a fitting gift would be a Siddur or Machzor with the appropriate bookplate on the inside cover.
